Bucky Payne

Bucky Payne started Payne Insurance Services in Sanford, NC in 2003 in an effort to expand the available products within his portfolio and save clients money. This would be done by using multiple carriers that could best fit client's needs. Bucky came to North Carolina as a golf professional in 1992. In 2000, he retired from the golf industry to pursue a career as a NC Farm Bureau agent. It was during that time that he realized the advantages he could offer his clients as an independent agent which led to the opening of Payne Insurance Services in Sanford. With the help of his dedicated staff, Bucky looks forward to meeting each of you and earning the opportunity to service your insurance needs.

Jennifer Payne

Jennifer Payne has been with Payne Insurance Services since 2005. She comes to us from the boating industry where she was involved with sales, finance and insurance. A lifelong resident of NC, Jennifer devotes her customer service expertise and accounting background to our employees and clients. As office manager and HR person Jennifer wears many different hats within the company. She is currently working on obtaining her North Carolina property and casualty license so that she can further assist our staff and clients when needed. Jennifer looks forward to knowing all of our clients and continuing our promise of service that is second to none.

Shatauka Hall

Shatauka Hall began her career in the insurance industry in 2000 when she received her license in property and casualty. In 2003, Shatauka continued her studies and received her license in life and health. Since day one, Shatauka's main focus has been commercial insurance. She is currently working to obtain her designation as a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC). Shatauka joined Payne Insurance Services as a producer in September of 2005. By January of 2007, Shatauka earned a position as our commercial services representative specialist. She looks forward to servicing all of your business insurance needs.

Lisa Stephens

Lisa Stephens has been with Payne Insurance Services since its inception. She worked with Bucky Payne at NC Farm Bureau and believed in the opportunities that would be offered in an independent agency. Lisa earned her license in property and casualty in 2001 and is currently working to obtain her designation as Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR). Payne Insurance Services was born with only Lisa and Bucky to get it off the ground. Today, Lisa is still the personal lines specialist and bonds specialist for Payne Insurance Services, as well as a notary public.

Reeanan Powers

Reeanan joined Payne Insurance Services in April 2004. She was hired as an assistant, but quickly obtained her property and casualty license. Reeanan continued to work for three years in personal lines before becoming an expert in trucking insurance in 2006. She continues to study both personal lines and trucking insurance and is currently working to obtain her designation as a Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR). Reeanan is also one of our in house notary public.
