Coverage available under a personal auto policy:
- Bodily Injury and Property Damage Liability: Required by law when you have a vehicle registered in North Carolina, pays for bodily injury and property damage to the claimant that you are liable for in an accident.
- Uninsured Motorist Coverage: Pays for bodily injury and property damage sustained when you get in a not at fault accident with an uninsured driver.
- Underinsured Motorist Coverage: Pays for bodily injury and property damage sustained when you get in a not at fault accident with a driver that does not have enough insurance.
- Comprehensive: Physical damage coverage for your vehicle for damages caused by falling objects, theft, vandalism, glass, animal collision.
- Collision: Physical damage coverage for your vehicle for damages caused by colliding with another object or caused by an upset on the roadway.
- Towing & Labor: Will pay up to a $25.00 (higher limits are available) for towing and labor costs (no parts) when a covered auto of the personal or business type is covered. Labor costs must be incurred at the place of disablement.
- Extended Transportation Expenses: Pays benefits when a covered auto is out of service for more than 24 hours because of physical damage (not theft). Limits are $15 per day up to $450 maximum (higher limits are available).
